Another major element of vision is focus. Focus is the lens through which the images of objective, purpose, desire, and tomorrow are channeled.
It is a magnifying glass held over a thin piece of paper. Without the glass, the sun’s rays are indeed powerful, but not enough to have any immediate effect. When intensified through the magnifying glass, though, the sun’s heat will produce a very definite effect on the paper.
The purpose of focus is to concentrate energy and effort in one specific direction for maximum effectiveness. Without focus, your vision is distracted and intermittent; your efforts scattered and misdirected. The visionary’s focus is directed and intensified by the desire produced by knowing and visualizing his objective. He knows it is impossible to focus if he is unsure of his target.
