Rather than being defeated by your situation, picture it as a mere chapter in the amazing story of your life.
You must ask yourself a couple of questions.
The first is: Are you avoiding failure? Of course, no one seeks failure. Success is infinitely more attractive and enjoyable but, if you are to succeed, you must not, at any cost, shy away from risk simply because of possible failure. If you do, ironically, you are ensuring your failure. Instead, you must continue to risk, to make the attempt, to dare to scale the mountain to the next challenge of your journey.
The second question is: Are you failing enough in life? It is an undeniable fact of life that if you are not experiencing failure, then you are simply not attempting enough. Write it down. Memorize it. Drill it into your mind. You must experience failure in order to have success. There is no other way. Again, no one is saying that you should court failure or enjoy it. What you must do is accept it as an unpleasant, but necessary, part of your success journey.
